I went to the Thai restaurant today! Really enjoyed it! Had no idea what to order, but they helped me out. I ordered a chicken dish with these Asian Noodles (I took home a menu, so if you want the name I can look it up for you), and it was really good. I also ordered some basil rolls that were good, and they brought us out some eggrolls and vegetable soup. For dessert, we had fried ice cream. It was quite delicious and I had a great time!

Thanks for the info! My friend told me this Thai place is a little more milder than most Chinese restaurants. She seems to do well with their food (but doesn't do too well with Chinese). So I'm excited about trying it. She did say you can really personalize your food there and create all sorts of combos with chicken, tofu, etc.

Most people think all Thai food is hot. A lot of it is, especially from Issan (Northeast Thailand); however many foods are lightly seasoned and the individual personalizes it, hot, sweet, sour, or without any additions. Hope you enjoy. Give us some feedback. If the peppers are too hot a little salt, like when drinking Tequila, will usually stop the burning sensation.

A friend of mine up here invited me to a Thai restaurant nearby up here. I'm interested in trying it! It'll be interesting to see what kind of food people from Thai eat!

Been getting afternoon thunderstorns from monsoon winds coning from the west. Had some wind damage to trees, got them trimmed, and seems okay. Wind gust around 16-20 mph. Still short of annual average rainfall, but at least it is raining.

Welcome to new members. Hope you enjoy weather data from Thailand.

Your data is coming through OK on our end. I'd see if it shows up on m.weatherbug.com. Best bet is to contact Chris Sloop on that one.

Sounds good! Let me know what you find out!

Publisher ID: p07695
Station Number: 19291
Email on outage had p0800 as an ID

Went to Thai Met. XML/RSS page and my browser IE 8 doesn't pickup an RSS on that page. I'll continue looking.

Hi Joel!

Yeah, I've had those glitches as well and usually have to reboot. What's your station ID (lowercase p) again? I can check if it's back up on our end.

Actually, RSS feeds are usually XML files, so if you copy/paste the link into the RSS section, it should work. I subscribe to a lot of RSS feeds that way.

There's probably a way to see your station data at m.weatherbug.com. As for the other areas, I'm hoping it'll be at the new WeatherBug.com when we roll it out, WeatherBug Mobile before too long, and WeatherBug 7 when that day comes. I'd ask Chris on that one though since he'd be the one to give you a better timeframe there.

Station down from 1503 1 April to about 1200 2 April due to ISP internet outage. 21 hours is longer than most outages. Usually 30 minutes max. and infrequent. Power spikes and outages are a little different. If they reboot PC that's great, if not it causes issues.

I got an email telling me you weren't getting my data and to check the station. The links for validating the reception didn't work. Probably still setting up display of data on WeatherBug. VWS confirms receipt.

RSS feeds are strange!!! The Thai Met. Dept combines XML data and RSS feeds in one data file. I'm learning XML usage and tutorials work but TMD data needs some edits.

Any prognosis on when I'll see WeatherBug data for my station vs WU data?

Got some info up! I embedded one of the cam images, and I also embedded your station widget and another station widget with cams so we can see data and cam images together. Plus, I went to our maps feeds and embedded our maps in.

A couple of things...

I think your station is currently down. I'd check on it and see what's up.

It's not letting me input the RSS feed into the RSS section, so feel free to go to the RSS section, rename it something like "Thailand Weather Reports" and input one of those RSS feeds you have there. Looking good though and getting all setup!
