Just heard about the 7.5 magnitude earthquake in New Zealand. Anyone have anything else to report on it? http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=1...

Recent earthquake hit Taiwan. I have a neighbor originally from there, so I'm finding out if any of her family was involved in it. Here in Arkansas, we're starting Earthquake Awareness Week here.

Same here. It's especially interesting to hear of Earthquakes in areas where we normally don't associate with earthquakes, as well as some of the International Earthquake reports we've gotten. Feel free to keep those posts, discussions coming!

I continue to be fascinated and enjoy following the earthquake patterns around the world. I hope for regular postings on this sight to help with that fascination.

Not sure when it occurred. This is the only time I've seen this in the news. Didn't make big headlines. Is it common for meteors like that to happen?

Comment by Bob Tyszka on April 22, 2012 at 7:36pm

Meteor.

Missed it, must be too far south.  What time did it occur, the news story does not say.  I got home about 1 AM.

That's perfect. Is there a way to get an embeddable HTML code for this?
