Yes, the blogs will still work. In fact, for future weather reports, you can go to Blogs and click on New Blog Post to send us weather reports. If you want to do a blog about Blue Ridge Weather Watch, that'd be great. The groups feature isn't totally going away. We're just streamlining groups. Groups will now be solely based on weather interests, and we'll be consolidating groups down to a small little bit of groups (HAM Radio, PWS, CoCoRaHS, etc). The focus is to move to fewer groups people can access more easily and get more active in instead of a bunch of groups no one will use.

Enjoy your station! I haven't had a heart transplant, but I have a friend that has. He was born with a half of a heart and had a heart transplant years ago and still doing well!

I just purchased by Davis Vantage Vue PWS. Can't wait to get it home and set-up. Hope I can contribute something from Greensboro, NC!

Are there any heart transplant survivors here? Duke Heart Transplant #951 on 8/3/2013.

I am very interested in weather and have been every sense I was a teenager. I am also the President of a weather organization. The Blue Ridge Weather Watch and how we operate is. During Sever weather we retrieve weather conditions by Amateur Radio Operators and report them to the NWS office in Greer, SC We also give out the Watches, Warnings & Advisories. Hi all,

I just joined the Backyard community.  We moved to NC the end of November, and I've been collecting data since then.

I setup my station details last week, so hopefully they will start appearing in the next day or so.

We'll be supporting Backyard Webcams possibly later this year. In the meantime, just hang tight till we get it done. If you have a webcam, I can embed it here though so people can see it on this group page.
