Nice to see your station up and running John! Amazingly similar data between your station and mine right now! Across thousands of miles, considerably south and east of your station, on a different coast, and we are reading just about the same! Kevin Shaw Gaithersburg Maryland

Be roughly another 35-40 days before DW1453 be up and running

It's showing up for me now. Was it down on the NWS end earlier?
Comment by Kevin Shaw on August 14, 2010 at 11:39pm
What happened to the map Nathan? It was there earlier today.

Yeah, we're coming in at 80F now, so I guess it's working. We are closer to Clarkesville. Why they call us Demorest I'll never know.

Well it is showing 79 deg, dew pt 75 Rel Hum 88% at 4:58 PM. Looks like no wind. I am a data person, and any chance I have I like to post the data. We are having similar temps right now, I have 79.6 right now (1734 EDT), but drier at 64% rel hum, and a dew pt of 66. That is a significant difference. Your station plot looks to be just about due west of Clarkesville, and NW of Demorest - a bit closer to Clarkesville.

Not sure. I haven't checked mine in a while. Mine's the CW1527 near Demorest...

So what was the data that was showing? Now I am at 79.4. Dew pt creeping up- now at 65.
