This morning (Fri Feb 4) the Dallas TX area, site of the Super Bowl on Sunday, had up to 8 inches of new snowfall (Winter Storm warning).

Super Bowl Sunday weather forecast for Dallas TX, from the NWS Dallas-Fort Worth official website:

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north northwest. Winds could gust as high as 25 MPH.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 28. Northwest wind around 10 MPH.

Updates to follow hopefully. Anyone there at the Super Bowl feel free to post anything and everything about the weather you are experiencing this weekend.

Clipper fell apart during the Baltimore game but it will be very cold during the Steelers jets game and the temp at game time maybe around 23 degrees!

Kevin, the only game facing major weather issues is the Pittsburgh Baltimore game as a ridge is expected to Settle there!

So what is the weather going to be like at the other games? I don't think there will be any snow up in MA for the Pats/Jets game - I would think the Atlanta/GB game in Atlanta should be OK, and the Seahawks game against the Bears in Chicago would be OK too. But if you could check on that a bit Les and post an update on those venues that would be great. If I get a chance on Thursday I might post on it - I don't have time right now- it is getting late - More tomorrow!

Steelers are playing the Baltimore Ravens and at the same time a pretty strong Clipper will enter the picture!

But the Steelers aren't playing this weekend. You should be rooting for the Chiefs.  I would think the Steelers would rather face the Chiefs than the Ravens... Right now in the third quarter the Seahawks are beating the Saints 34-20. I was a bit wrong with the Seattle stadium- it might be a retractable roof, but it appears to be open to the sky today, if I saw that camera shot correctly. With the kind of weather they get in Seattle, I would think that roof must be movable. Not much snow, but plenty of nuisance rain and wind.. Kevin
