The Official WeatherBug Community
LOVE the Backyard Stations integration. I'm sure our users will too! Couple quick questions:
Should we have a "Backyard" tab with our Backyard Blog feed embedded in it so users can read the Backyard Blog inside WeatherBug 7? We can also link to the Backyard Community groups, photos, videos, etc., and encourage more members to participate in the Backyard Community from WeatherBug 7.
It'd be great if we could also link to our Backyard Stations section and even bake in our Backyard Publishing API into WeatherBug 7. That way if members needed a quick way to start sending us Backyard Station data without using another full-fledged application, they could download WeatherBug 7, signup their station, enter the data, and start sending us data. Just a quick and easy way to get more stations on the network.
Thanks!

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 25, 2012 at 7:56pm You type in your Zip Code and it should be in the list of all the other stations. It's just like WeatherBug.com now. If you don't see it, let me know.

Permalink Reply by Matt Barys on April 26, 2012 at 6:55am That would explain it! Please let me know when I can try again! It will be listed under 60410, Amberleigh Estates.
Thanks

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 26, 2012 at 2:59pm Yeah, sure will. I know it's depressing. :-(
Permalink Reply by Allan MacManes on April 26, 2012 at 7:08pm I can not see my weather station on the maps when I type in the zip code(06278); or using the new application. Also when I try to click on the FAQ's. I get messages that there are script errors, and the program closes.

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 26, 2012 at 7:15pm Yeah, Backyard Stations are (unfortunately) broken for now. Seems you found another glitch with the FAQ's too. Thanks for the feedback!

This is currently being worked on but definitely on its way. Be on the look out!
