Can anyone see Backyard Stations in their copy of WeatherBug 7 right now? We're getting reports of them not showing up and I want to know if anyone's seeing them or not? Want to see if this is an isolated or major glitch.
Thanks!

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 25, 2012 at 11:57pm Yep, bad news. Not seeing ANY for my area or HQ area. Oh boy...We definitely have a glitch. This isn't good. :-(
BTW, design tweak once we get Backyard Stations going in WB7. We need to add a disclaimer similar to the one at WeatherBug.com, but we do need to tweak the disclaimer at WeatherBug.com first (some of those links are dead since I've changed them recently). Also, we need to change "WeatherBug Backyard Network" to "WeatherBug Backyard Stations" for naming consistency.

Permalink Reply by James Freeman on April 26, 2012 at 7:50am Definitely not seeing my station. I use a Davis Vantage Pro 2 updating every 15 min. The only stations I can see are NWS stations and Weather bug Stations. Can't see the Backyard Stations (like mine.)
Permalink Reply by Thad Pendleton on April 26, 2012 at 10:36am Where would that be? In Live Cams? If so, I can see those.
By the way, is there a way to keep it from opening into the full view when Windows starts?

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 26, 2012 at 2:30pm Backyard Stations should be showing up in the station list when you search the network for stations. Alas, they're not. I've notified our teams and awaiting on word for a fix. I know, it's the "big feature" everyone's been waiting on. Wait just a little longer and it'll be there. :-)
Not sure on that setting. David, can you chime in on that? Mine opens full screen when Windows starts as well.
Permalink Reply by Ed Miller on April 26, 2012 at 1:29pm i also am not able to find my backyard station. If I cannot make my station the main station this is not of much use. i am able to have data from by home weather station using the Weather Watcher Live application.

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 26, 2012 at 2:28pm Yeah, it's a major glitch unfortunately. I've notified the developers on it. I know you're all wanting to test this feature. Sorry this is the one large glitch we're having. :-)
Permalink Reply by Brian Casteel on April 27, 2012 at 1:42pm I cannot see them either, and just verified that I am publishing data. I can see my station in the Bing map with that layer enabled, but not through WB7.

Permalink Reply by Nathan Parker on April 27, 2012 at 1:46pm Glitch is still there. Trying to get an update from my teams. Nothing yet.
Permalink Reply by Darrel Pharris on April 28, 2012 at 11:33am I am not able to see any of the Backyard Stations.
Permalink Reply by Kris Kisatsky on April 28, 2012 at 6:07pm Just downloaded and tried WB7 on the news that it is improved and would allow you to see PWS's. Result: PWS's have been excluded from station list AGAIN, same as with WB Mobile. Back to Ambient Weather's Weather Exchange program for me.
