Clarification on photo posting

Greetings all,

Just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page as to what is acceptable photo posting activity on the WeatherBug Backyard Community.

Photos where you're sharing the weather of the day or even outdoors activities are encouraged, so long as the weather is a reasonable part of the photo. We're reasonably lax in this area, so long as you took the photo, it was taken outdoors (or through a window) and it's considered family-friendly.

Since this is a Backyard Community of weather enthusiasts, we work hard to keep things "on-topic" as much as possible. These same guidelines apply to videos as well.

Outdoors scenery, outdoors sporting events where the weather of the day is clearly visible, and other weather related photos are always welcome when you're the photographer and/or follow general U.S. copyright guidelines.

Thanks everyone,

Matt Hartley

Good news: most of the U.S. will have a low risk of wildfires this summer. Only a few spots will be of concern early in the season. http://ow.ly/4niM4j
