I run MADIS Station D2149 Bass Lake Ca. - Our station is the official National Weather Service reporting station for Bass Lake Ca. and the surrounding area of the Southern Sierra Nevada mountains. The station became operational on January 14th, 2009.

Our station hardware consists of the following:

Davis Vantage Pro 2+ "Aspirated" with UV and Solar Sensors
Logitech WebCam Pro 9000 WeatherCam
Apple iMac 27" Quad Core i5 Computer running OSX Snow Leopard

Thanks Rick. Read everything, just incredibly busy. Will try to post more later in the week. Very late now- after 2 AM, and I got to get to work in a few short hours- normally get up around 8 AM and report to work by 0930. 45 minute commute to Silver Spring under normal conditions.
