About You (Or Your Weather Interests): I'm Just a regular person, I lived most of my life in the beach cities around Southern California, I always dreamed of living in the rural mountain areas, when I became disabled in the military, I realized just how short our time in this life is. I moved into a rural mountain area, it was there I first experienced the 4 seasons, and learned just how important the weather was. the more the weather became an important part of my life, the more I wanted, and needed to learn about it. Then through a strange twist of fate, I ended up in a ecosystem 100% different from where I was, and one I swore I'd never live in. Never before have I been in an ecosystem where the weather plays such a important role in everyday life, and never have I ever seen such dramatic weather variations, it was all of this that that once again triggered my interest in the weather. Well, that about explains it all, what happens now is a mystery, one thing I know about myself is, should my interest go down the path of fascination, I'll end up obsessed intellectually with the subject, and need to learn as much as I can. LOL Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Cloudy and overcast, but nice and warm in 29P/JT High desert area

The weather station is reporting 75 degrees, but in all honesty it feels more like the low 60's, that might be due to all the clouds, some look a bit dark. The weather has been rather steady, nothing really eventful. Wow, thats the shortest weather report I have given so far. Mild days and cold nights in the california high desert?

Good day everyone :) If your wondering if the question mark is a typo it's not. The California "High Desert" covers such a vast area, the Marine base and Joshua tree national park alone cover over 1 million acres, that's just a small section of the high desert area. I met another person here on WB, who also lives in the high desert area, while he reported 7 inches of snow, I didn't get even a snowflake. I live about 10 miles from the base, there is a weather station somewhere on the base…
