Wind Chill hit zero˚ F this morning with strong winds (up to 28 MPH) blowing around what little snow we had. YardCam image above shows what little accumulation we've received. Cleveland's snow belt just 15-20 miles to my east left them with 4-6" of new snow, and the first school closings this school year.Stay warm out there!Steve See More

Temp got as high as 51˚ about noon, but has dropped 10˚ since. They were predicting up to 50 MPH winds, but all we've seen are gusts as high as 28 MPH.

Like usual, we're staying home and watch Dick rock in the new year.We've had a very spring-like week, with temps in the mid 40s and some days into the 50s! Last night at midnight it was a balmy 47˚. We had 1.17" of rain yesterday in Avon (8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday according to the CoCoRaHS gauge.) We were out for a walk about 3/4 mile from home when it started at 12:45. Weeping cherry tree in our backyard this morning. It is a beautiful 72˚F with partly cloudy skies and no wind. Much better than the too hot 80˚s we've seen the past couple of day. This is more like spring!
I guess it must be winter in NE Ohio.
