A Feeling of March In Mid-Michigan

Click for Corunna, Michigan Forecast

At least when we get snow this time of year, we can look forward to warmer days so that it doesn't stick with us too long. Today should be one of those days and we can already see some melting. Yesterday we saw drizzle and light rain most of the day. Freezing…

THE BIG STORM GRADUALLY WEAKENS AND LOSES IT'S GRIP ON US

Good morning!!!

The slow moving storm system that has been affecting the region will gradually weaken and move off to the northeast today and Monday. A new storm developing over the southwestern U.S. is expeced to move off the Mid Atlantic Coast around mid week. It could come close enough to spread some wintry precipitation over the state, but at this stage it does not appear that it will be a significant storm for the area.

Things are just beginning to unfold and this could last through the day and into tonight or tomorrow.

Live In Washington State

This is Matt Hartley reporting from Mount Vernon, Washington State. No alerts have been issued on local TV yet. I am watching WeatherBug media affiliate KING5, so clearly we are not under any Tsunami Advisory as of yet.

I live far enough inland that we are okay, however most of my family is on the water with regard to location. More details as they come in. Bulk of the warnings at this…

Maybe Some Relief Coming To Mid-Michigan

Though our temps have been quite mild throughout the day, the wintery weather will not give us a break. Yesterday we picked up another 2 inches of snow giving us a total of around 8 inches on the ground. The winds were very strong, gusts up to 30 mph. Today should be a little better with a warming trend by next weekend. I just heard about a huge earthquake in Chili . . . 8.8…
