Slight rain and temp of 29F at 7 o'clock this morning. Then wind and more rain, then wind and more rain. The wind was out of the SouthEast at about 5 - 8 mph and blowing the snow off trees and roofs. Mixing with the rain and quite unpleasant. About 10 am the rain stopped and the temperature went up into the 40's and…

A Messy Mix in Mid Michigan
These guys are probably wondering about our weather also. It can't seem to make up it's mind. Our local meteorologists said that this has been the snowiest February on record for our area but last night it was all rain. I expected to see a lot of ice this morning but it didn't happen. There is some but even my deck wasn't slippery. We only had a trace of snow and I could hear the rain…

WEATHER IN THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY OF NORTHCENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
Northcentral Pennsylvanians woke up this Sunday morning to quite a bit of cloudiness. However as the day passed we began to see a few peeks of sun from time to time. By late afternoon we saw more in the way of sunshine. Along with the periods of sunshine we experienced milder temperatures in the mid to upper 40's. Weak high pressure was passing by to give us the tranquil weather of today. Things are about to change once again as a strong low pressure system tracks west of the state on…

Opened the blinds at 8 o'clock and all is white again. 3 inches of fluffy, thick stuff on everything. Breakfast and then at it. Did not take too long to clear if off and then the plow came and filled in the driveway again. You don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Our sunrise was at 6.23 and sunset will be at…

A White, Wintery Weekend For Mid Michigan
What a beautiful snowstorm we had yesterday! As tired as I am of snow, it was so pretty. There were very big flakes and it was snowing so hard that you could hardly see past my yard. It looked like a snow globe. But much of it melted on contact with the ground so I'm not sure what our actual accumulation was. I measured 2 inches but I think…

Looked outside last night before going to bed and it was snowing. Stopped by the time we got up and guess we got about 1/2 inch of snow. Sunrise was at 6.24am and by breakfast most of the snow had melted. Temperature at 8 o'clock was 30F and the sun was doing its best to shine through. The city last night sent the…
