Conditions now at 8am. 59 degrees, cloudy, humidity 84%, dewpoint 55 degrees. South wind at 8.---Today, breezy, 72 on the shore, possible thunder storms in the afternoon. VP2 backyard report from Gaithersburg Maryland for Memorial Day, May 30, 2011

Memorial Day Monday was our hottest day of the year so far,

temps soaring into the 90s, and naturally my home A/C went on

the fritz. I replaced the filter but the thermostat appears to

First Clear Sunset on the Mountain, NH.

VP2 backyard report from Gaithersburg for Sunday, May 29, 2011

Sunday was a tad warmer than Saturday but at least it didn't

reach close to 90. Dew points were the main reason for

discomfort, reaching into the low 70s for most of the day.
