Sorry I haven't posted a blog in a few days. I was on a mini vacation down at the New Jersey shore. Had a ball and now I am back blogging once again. Wow for a while today, especially this morning it really put the rain down. We had some heavy downpours here in central Pennsylvania. Over an inch and a half in the rain guage. Now what we need is a little bit of a break and we will get it for Saturday. A front moved south of us this evening and will move off the Atlantic seaboard overnight.… Continue

Yesterday was rain turning into a real nice evening. This morning we have 30-35mph winds and a high in the low 60s.
But relief is on the way with temperatures getting into the 70s by the weekend. Big question out here is "When is Summer Coming?" here's what the WB picture says...
CONDITIONS NOW, 63, SUNNY AND BREEZY. A COOL NORTHWEST WIND AT 10.-----TONIGHT, CLOUDING UP, A FEW SHOWERS AFTER MIDNIGHT. LOW AROUND 50.------THURSDAY, 60% CHANCE OF RAIN OR A THUNDERSTORM. HIGH'S IN THE MID 60'S. LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS.

I recorded a low of 93 one morning a few years ago...and while I have also had a high of 117, that low temperature is still more impressive to me.
The night sky produced an extra opportunity to look up… Continue
