Good Morning All, a bright AM, although cool. 64 degrees at this hour after a low of 56 earlier, the Dew Point down near 50 making it a Fallish feel to the air. Good afternoon everyone! I'm back managing the blog after recently being away due to my DSL modem going down, and a headache I've had. The good news is that I did get my new DSL modem setup, and I'm starting to do a little better with my headache. It's good to be back reporting this weekend.
Our weather has been nice this weekend, with temps currently at 78F on my Backyard Station. That's a nice relief from the 90's we were seeing recently.… Continue

As part of the UK's lottery draw, the BBC add gameshows around them (in order to pan them out to 45 minutes). The most recent of these shows was called "Guesstimation" (where contestants had to guess the answer). Playing along online I was given four options (which made my life easy). Yesterday, however, a question came up that proves we Brits think in °C only.
The catergory was "Hot and Cold" and the question was: "What is the highest recorded temperature in Death Valley, California… Continue
