September Has Been Gorgeous - Mid Michigan

I saw this tree on my ride yesterday and found it very striking  It is by far the most colorful tree that I've seen so far this year.  Yesterday was fabulous weather-wise.  Our high made it into the low 70s, skies were clear all day, and there was just a light breeze.  We expect this weather to continue most…

Saugus MA area weather

Weekend Update:

Friday was an overall ugly day of weather as it rained most of the day. Cooler temperatures made it feel more like mid or late October. The heaviest rainfall held off until the evening hours in the Boston area, with the heaviest of the rainfall winding down around midnight. Although the back edge of the rain lingered until early Saturday morning the main slug of rain had moved offshore.

All this due to a slow moving low pressure system that will lift into the…

A Great Start to the Weekend - Mid Michigan

We are expecting sunny conditions, light winds, and a high a 70F today.  It should be great for anything outdoors that needs to be done.  As for me, I'll try to get about 10-15 miles on my bike.  Time is growing short for that sort of thing and I'll take advantage of it while I can.  This morning is clear and…

Ontonagon, Michigan

9am, 40 degrees, sunny and calm.   Yesterdays high was 64 and the low was 36, no precip.   For today, sunny, a high of 70, NE winds at 5-10.   Sunday, sunny, 72 degrees, east wind at 5-10.   With those north breezes coming off the lake, I don't see it getting that warm here on the shore, maybe inland a few miles.

Gaithersburg Maryland VP2 backyard report for Friday, September 28, 2012

Still getting caught up on things, will be finishing that project up over this weekend. Cloudy, damp, light overnight showers gave way to variably cloudy skies as the cold front took its sweet time to clear the area, and showers were still falling this evening less than 100 miles to my south and east. It was cooler than yesterday, and drying out finally over the evening hours…

Grey, Raw, Damp Day in Quincy, MA

It started to drizzle overnight and at 7.30 am we had received 0.12" and it was still on and off as we headed in to Boston to get our Flu shots.

To pass the time we went to the Museum of Science for a "look - see". Fun Place! Took the opportunity to find out what "Hurricane" winds feel like.…
