After having very strong winds last night, we are having more of the same at this time. Right now (9:30 AM), our skies are mostly cloudy, our temp is 45°F, the humidity is 70% and winds are out of the SW at 14 mph, gusting to 18 MPH. This gives us a wind chill of 39°F. Our total rain amounts for October were 5.35", most of that received just in the past week.

We have a Flood Advisory in effect until 4:30pm today. The torrential rains we are getting are part of a rain system which extends South all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Compounding our problems are the leaves clogging storm drains.
Temps should be mild today but I guess that won't matter much if it rains all day, and judging from the dopplar, that looks like what we'll have. Right now (9:30 AM) we are having some light drizzle, our temp is 54°F, the humidity is 100%, and winds are out of the south at 10 mph with gusts up to 16 mph. Low clouds will linger through tonight behind a departing storm system off the east coast. Patchy fog and drizzle is possible as well.
