For the first time this winter, the UK Met Office has issued a widespread freeze and frost alert for the whole country warning that even cities like Belfast and Glasgow will record lows of -4°C (24°F) and that rural areas in Scotland, Yorkshire and the Midlands could get down to -8°C (16°F). Now I realise that people like Dennis are going to say "Hah, call that cold. Skies remained on the cloudy side overnight all ahead of a cold front moving at us from the Ohio Valley. Rain showers tracked eastward through the night with light amounts reported. Here in my backyard I measured only 5 hundredths of an inch so far. The cold front will continue to push eastward across the state today with a change to snow showers especially in northern and western sections by late this afternoon as colder air moves in behind the front. The snow showers should end Tuesday… Continue

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone had a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! We took it easy around here on Thanksgiving since I and my family had the flu, so we didn't get to have as enjoyable as a Thanksgiving as we had wanted. However, amidst all of the sickness, we still had a good Thanksgiving and thanked God for all of the wonderful blessings He bestowed upon us this year. He blessed us with a new town, new home, and so many additional blessings to go with it, that we just couldn't help… Continue

At that time a cold front will be approaching from the Midwest and could produce rain showers late tonight and Monday. Not good news for deer hunters taking to the woods early Monday. Colder air will invade the area behind the cold front for Monday night as rain… Continue
