WeatherBug Community

The Official WeatherBug Community

Access the WeatherBug Community from our Mobile Apps

We've recently added a new feature to our mobile apps called "Communities". The main goal of the feature is to provide organizations with a content management publisher that can integrate with our mobile apps. Some organizations are already taking advantage of this new feature.

In addition to these other organizations, we have rolled our own set of tiles in our "Communities" publisher that allows WeatherBug Community members to access various portions of the WeatherBug Community (Blog, Groups, the ability to send us weather reports, etc.). We're also rolling out links to PWS-related features we roll out during our "summer PWS" program we've been discussing over on the PWS group.

For those interested in learning how to access the WeatherBug Community tiles from our mobile apps, watch the video below, or click this link to watch the video directly on Vimeo.

We hope that the new WeatherBug Community tiles feature is a handy and convenient way to access the WeatherBug Community directly from our mobile app.

Hi John! Good question. Send an email to webteam@earthnetworks.com, and I'm hoping someone there can answer that for you.

BTW, you might have seen the Press Release at EarthNetworks.com where xAd, Inc., has acquired the WeatherBug brand. We'll be providing more details about that in a future announcement on here, but the end result is basically Earth Networks is now in charge of future development of the weather data network backend and xAd, Inc., is in charge of future development of WeatherBug's apps and services. My hope is with two companies working on future projects, it'll result in faster development overall.

Hey Nathan how come the radar on your programs don't work in Alaska.  Seeing how  earthwork don't own them so they can say there not enough sites.
