After A Brief Cool Down, Summer Is Back In Albuquerque

Tonight's Sunset

A cold, blustery, and wet weather system arrived on 9/11 and hung around for three days.  It was a welcome change from all of the hot weather we have had all Summer.  In those three days we saw a low of 46°, a high of 67°, and wind gusts up to 39 mph each night.  It drizzled on and off all three days, the total rainfall measured .27".

We're back to normal, or almost normal, now with a morning low of 54° and an afternoon high of 86° with 6% humidity at 4:40 PM.  Skies were clear all day, winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.  Average temperatures for September 16th are, low 58° and high 81° F.

Tonight will be clear with lows in the upper 50s.  Monday will start off clear then partly cloudy in the afternoon, high temperature 82°, winds NW 5 to 10 mph.  The skies will clear again Monday night, WNW winds 15 to 25 mph gusting to 30 mph, changing to Easterly after midnight.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be clear with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

At 10:55 PM it is 72°, humidity 9%, barometer 30.12" and rising, winds ENE at 2 mph, dew point 10°, and the sky is clear.  Sunrise Monday 6:51 AM, sunset 7:11 PM MDT.

Happy Weather,
Kay
