Back to Normal Temperatures for Albuquerque

Tonight's Sunset

The cold weather that has been sitting on top of New Mexico for a couple of weeks has finally given way to more normal temperatures.  Later in the week we may even be back above average for a couple of days.  Our morning low today was a bit chilly at 16°, but we warmed to a pleasant 44° this afternoon under partly cloudy skies and light Southeast winds to 7 mph.  Average temperatures for January 6th, low 26° high 46° F.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 27° and light SE winds.  Monday partly cloudy with a high of 46°, winds NE 5 to 10 mph.  Monday night partly cloudy with a low of 27°, NNE winds 5 to 10 mph.  Clear skies return on Tuesday with average temperatures until another system cools us down next weekend.

At 10:50 PM it is 33°, humidity 31%, barometer 30.19" and falling, wind ESE 1 mph, dew point 6°, and it is mostly cloudy at 22,000' AGL.  Sunrise Monday 7:15 AM, sunset 5:09 PM MST.

Happy Weather,
Kay

That's a beautiful sky, Kay. Haven't seen too much of that around here lately.
