Clearing Skies and Warmer Temps Coming To Mid Michigan

What began as a cloudy morning is now transitioning into a sunny day.  What's even better is that we are expecting record highs over the next 3-4 days with plenty of sun.  It just doesn't get any better than that for February.  This winter has been better than last winter when we were under the influence of El Nino.  This was supposed to be our very snowy winter and it just hasn't happened.  Even if we still get the "big one", it won't last that long this late in the season.  Everyone is getting spring fever and really enjoying the outdoors.

Right now (2:45 pm EST), our temp is 31°F (0°C), the humidity is 45%, and winds are from the SW at 6 mph, giving us a wind chill of 25°F.  The pressure is 29.92 in (1012.9 mb) and steady.  Skies are mostly cloudy and visibility is 10 miles,.  The dew point is 14°F (-10°C).  Yesterday's high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C).  The record high for Feb. 15 is 58°F set in 1950, and the record low is -21°F set in 2015.  Averages now are 30°F / 24°F.
