The Official WeatherBug Community
I recently heard in the news fires are sweeping across the nation, including the North Georgia Mountains where I lived a few years. If anyone has any reports to share concerning the recent fires sweeping across our nation, please share them with us right here on the WeatherBug Community Blog.
I also heard about a 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck New Zealand. If anyone has any reports concerning the earthquake they'd like to share with us, please post them on our Earthquakes Group here on the WeatherBug Community.
The Supermoon is also expected to appear tomorrow. I am sure some of you will take some incredibly stunning photos of the Supermoon when it appears. If you manage to get any great shots of the Supermoon, please share them with us on WeatherBug Photos and our Space Weather Group. We'd love to see them.
In terms of weather here in Hot Springs, we finally saw some wintry temps last night with a low of 33F. It is currently 44F outside now. Temps will return to more summer-like temps this upcoming week with highs in the upper 70's and possibly 80's. Looking forward to seeing summer leave us for good and winter usher in! Remember you can also follow my weather reports in real time on my Twitter @mallardnathan or the Arkansas Weather Twitter feed #ARWX.
