Maybe Some Sun Today For Grand Rapids, Michigan

Temperature: 33

Average Wind:  14 mph SW

Wind Chill:    23

Humidity:      75%

Visibility:      10 mi

Dew Point;   26

Sunrise:      8:11 am

Sunset:       5:29 pm

Monthly Precip.: 16" snow, 1" rain

Partly sunny with a high in the upper 30s today. SW winds 10-20 mph.

Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of light rain/snow tonight. Low in the lower 30s. SW winds 15 - 20 mph.

It's refreshing to wake up to no snow or rain falling. It's gray out there, make no mistake on that, but at least no moisture is falling to add to any totals. Have no idea yet about any flood concerns but I wouldn't be surprised to hear there are some.

I see ice fishermen out on  the lake this morning. The rain has smoothed the surface to something that looks rather slick and I notice they're skidding and sliding, but nothing gets in the way of a devoted fisherman. Oh well...better them than me out there. I'm a happy camper to be on this side of the window. I'm comfy and warm and they are not. That's all that's necessary for me to know :>)
