I can hardly stand to say it for fear of jinxing things, but It's supposed to get up to 80 degrees by this weekend. I am overjoyed! Today I'm opening up the porch in preparation of being able to sit out there with my morning coffee on Saturday. Oh, man! Been waiting so long.

We had a huge circle around the sun last week...and although the next day was cloudy and felt like rain, rain never did materialize. Yesterday morning the sun came up with what looked a lot like a ring around it, but not a cloud of any kind that might have smacked of rain put in an appearance. I will say that things are really dry as we had hardly any rain in March, so eventually, I'm looking forward to rain. Not now, though. I'm so thrilled with sunny and warm. I'll go out and spit on things...that should be enough moisture for awhile No need for rain. :>)
