Sounds like a fairly thorough thaw is in store for us. I heard weather guru say it wouldn't surprise him to see our temperatures rise to meet the 60 degree mark by the end of the week. Seriously? I mean, a January thaw is one thing, but temperatures that high are going to confuse the heck out of the growing things and the critters here abouts. So much for ice sports for those enthusiasts. Our weather continues to be weird.

Hans, as much of a winter sports enthusiast I'm not, it would be a cold day in .....er, on the lake before I'd get out there for the sole purpose of trying to snag a fish through a hole in the ice. Brrrrrr...... and for those who would, looks like they're going to be out of luck for some time.
