90% chance of snow, then light drizzle and snow overnight. Snow accumulation around 1" expected.  Low in the upper 20s. SW winds 10-15mph.

Right at the moment there is a fair amount of sunshine showing, but evidently that isn't going to be the case later on. Day before yesterday I was overrun with squirrels, yesterday it seemed to be Starlings. Once I looked out at the feeder and there must have been well over 30 of them out there. Where did they come from and where did they go, because they aren't here now? Somewhere, there is a huge flock of Starlings feeding at someone else's feeder, I imagine. They're welcome here, most everything is. I don't care what feeds out there, I put it out and after that it's fair game for whoever comes around hungry. And I've had ducks, racoons, birds of many varieties, a possum or two, a woodchuck...and on it goes. Always a treat to check out the kitchen window to witness what visitor is grazing at the moment.

Those pesky starlings. I wouldn't mind if just a few, but they come in bunches and clean out my feeder in just a few hours.
