Kevin,

The station is only at 10,875' but looks out at 8000m peaks. You can get some details from my trip report here: http://www.earthnetworks.com/Portals/0/Nepal%20Trip%20Report_Final.pdf

There is also a webcam (which we are still connecting to the WB network) here: http://www.nepalwireless.net/webcams/mohare/

Below is a plot of the data from the station that I grabbed a few weeks ago. It does fluctuate from lows below 20 to highs above 45! This past week it snowed a god foot and 2 days later most had melted. I think the forecasts in the link Chris sent were for Kathmandu, which would be much warmer.

Thanks Chris. I checked it out, seems additional info is not available- I was looking to confirm the elevation of the station. In looking at the video and mentioned in my previous post, I had doubts over the stated elevation of 11,000 feet for the station. It seems that is should be higher, esp. to support mid 30s temps as I saw earlier. And the 7 day forecasts don't seem to mesh with the current temps. Just some initial observations - thanks again for posting the link. Will be checking it out some more in the next several days.

Yes, the station is online. I dont think you can get to it on the desktop app. Here is the direct link to the site on our web site: http://weather.weatherbug.com/Nepal/Kathmandu-weather.html?zcode=z6...

Chris- is this station online yet? I was trying to find it on my weatherbug plus, but I did a search on Nepal and it came up with nothing. Did I hear things right- 11,000 foot high station in Nepal. That sounds impressive, but that actually isn't very high for Himalayan standards. Very interesting, really would like to see the data coming out of this very unique location. Thanks for posting!
